Cut the top of the block off approximately 3mm from the edge all the way around — a standard metal saw works well here.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"\u003ePull the top out slightly to expose the original circuit board, fastened with 3 metal screws. Cut through the screws with the metal saw. The original board will be damaged in this process — this is expected. Remove the top completely and detach the original board.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"\u003eSecure the new board to the optical fiber using the included bolt and nut. Use a wrench and tape to hold the nut in place while tightening.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"\u003eDrill the small plug pin holes open to 6mm. Feed the wires from the new board through.
